Russian pianist Elena Glik graduated with honors from the class of Irina Karminskaja at the Institute of Arts in Kharkov (Ukraine) with degrees in solo piano, chamber music, and vocal and instrumental accompaniment. During her studies, she worked as an accompanist at the opera studio of the Institute of Arts, as a soloist at the Kharkov Philharmonic Orchestra, and performed in numerous concerts in Russia and the Ukraine. Elena attended master classes at the Moscow Conservatory with Anatolij Vedernikov, Victor Merzhanov, and with Prof. Vitaly Margulis (MHS Freiburg). Her participation in the 1st International Bach Competition in Saarbrücken led her to Germany. She continued her studies with Boris Lvov at the Hochschule für Musik in Trossingen and graduated with honors in 1995. Elena Glik works as an accompanist with talented young artists, including vocal students at the Salzburg Mozarteum. Since 2019, she has been a faculty member at the Austrian Masterclasses in Zell an der Pram.
Elena Glik has been a successful piano teacher since she was in school and has worked at the musical Camerloher Gymnasium in Freising and at the Bavarian International School in Munich. She offers piano lessons in the Munich area for all age groups. She also enjoys working with singers. In addition to rehearsing vocal repertoire, she is also happy to help singers prepare for concerts, entrance exams and competitions.
